About Ecoworld

Ecoworld was established in 1993 by Fred & Ruby Walker.  Back then, bio-remediation or microbe technology (natural micro-organisms/bacteria) to treat organic waste was in its infancy in New Zealand. Now, Fred & Ruby's son Ron, and his wife Kathy own the business, after taking over the reigns in 2018. Fred & Ruby still work within the business, offering their vast expertise on a daily basis.  In fact, with over 27 years of history in the water treatment industry, the Ecoworld team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in water purification, revitalisation, treatment methods and systems.

We are a leading supplier of rural water filtration systems, specialising in the removal of iron and manganese, but also treat other issues affecting commercial and industrial businesses. Our own ‘iRon-Filtration by design’ water filter systems can be found throughout the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and surrounding North Island areas. Our iRon™ systems have been installed on dairy farms, lifestyle blocks, holiday homes, commercial, domestic dwellings, and industries including a winery on Waiheke Island, a brewery in the Waikato, and the Dairy NZ research farms, chicken farms, goat farms, vehicle wash companies and so on.  Do you require a solution to fix your current water source’s quality?
